Each season [visvim] catches our eye with a selection of top quality items. Today we introduce our picks from the label’s latest collection: shoes and a tote bag made of vegetable-tanned leather from Sweden.
As the handiwork of a venerable tanner founded in 1870, this vegetable-tanned leather continues to be crafted using traditional techniques to this day. Its key features are the distinctive uneven look of tanning and the way it grows even more attractive over years of frequent use. [visvim] applied a wash process as the finishing touch before working the leather into shoes and bags.
The tote bag fastens with an antique silver concho attached to a deerskin cord, and the shoes feature hand-sewn Goodyear welts, which only adds to their status as top-notch items that draw out the quality of their materials to the fullest and can be enjoyed for many years to come.
You can expect to see the shoes in stores at the end of January, with the bag arriving in early March, so make sure to check them out once they hit the shelves.
