New releases are on the way from the [Levi’s] “Made in Japan”, a premium denim line that features top quality materials from the Land of the Rising Sun, with the sewing, treatment, and every other step of manufacturing process taking place domestically as well.

Made by the hands of skilled craftsmen, each piece of this Japanese denim has a personality all its own, and only grows more attractive the more they are worn. The “511” model has a silhouette that is relaxed around the hips and thighs but then narrows as it progresses down towards the cuffs for a slim tapered fit. The damaged treatment makes full use of the fabric’s Japanese needlework, so each pair of these jeans allows you to see the handiwork of the craftsmen that went into each and every step of their production.

A fresh aspect this time around are the names of the three new colors, “Wari”, “Koshi”, and “Atsumori”, which originate in Japanese words for soba noodles. Look forward to picking this denim up at Levi’s stores all over Japan and the Levi’s e-shop beginning mid-February.
